Leading a learning community, where the instructional leader’s role is to nurture and sustain a culture that supports an inclusive learning community, requires a deep understanding of structures and strategies that support inclusion. Supporting teachers and other educators through developing common values and beliefs on inclusion will allow an instructional leader to help sustain actions that support the culture of an inclusive learning community.  This presentation will share some thoughts and practices a leader could use to advocate for inclusion as well as structures and strategies to employ as an educational team.
